1067 km ride yesterday, will be doing the reverse tomorrow.

Fort McMurray, AB to High Level, then to La Crete. 10 hours on the bike, to do 2 hours of repair work for a photocopier today, then 10 hours home tomorrow!

The way I saw it I had 3 options to get here.

1. Take the company Jeep, and be supremely uncomfortable for 20 hours.

2. Take my own car (Infiniti M56) and be supremely comfortable, but put 2000 km on it and pay for fuel out of my own pocket since the company gas card won't allow me to buy premium fuel.

3. Take my Trophy. (Still use company gas card because the bike takes regular gas).

- No brainer. Stupidly comfortable bike.

And do you get paid while riding?  Or just for the 2 hours of repair work?  Either way, if all my expenses are paid, I'm in!

Not only get paid, but paid overtime!

Plus my meals, fuel and hotels are covered.

Servicing this customer basically gets me an extra near weeks pay.

( 3.5 hours OT Friday, 8 hours OT saturday,  10 hours OT Sunday. Works out at time and a half to  extra 32.25 hours pay).

I know I'm only working 2 hours  or so fixing the machine, (ended up 3.5 hours today) but I get paid a full day at OT for being away for no reason but work.
