Extra set of rear view mirrors ?

:152:     Been thinking of adding a extra set of rear view mirrors to my 2016 Trophy SE. The factory mirrors are okay, but they are not giving me a a wide view of what’s around me. I am looking at a set rear view bar end mirrors and also a set of mirrors that thread into the left and right handle bars. Wondering if anyone has added extra mirrors and if they have any pros and cons on which type would work better on the Trophy. I live in So. California and do white line it from time to time.

The original owner of my trophy added a set & I use them more than the originals. I think they were aprila manta oem's but, whatever, they work fine.
I added a couple of corner fitting, stick on, wide angle "blind spot" mirrors onto the originals also. So now, I guess, my trophy has six mirrors. So, I have no problem seeing traffic around me.

For the same reasons as Cross-county I added a set of mirrors (see attachment).  Cost me a whole $20 for the pair.  MBP05 Angular Stealth Style Motorcycle Mirrors by Hoosier Garage.  (I checked, but it seems this particular model is no longer available?)  Very happy with these and very happy with the resulting increased field of view to the rear - use these as my primary rearview and use the Trophy mirrors turned way out to the sides for blind spot and next-lane-over view.

:152:     Thank you for the feedback on the extra set of mirrors. Sounds like you now have a really good view of what’s going on all around your TTSE. I will find a set that I can use on my TTSE.     Cross-Country

For those that add mirrors but have been using the mounts for RAM accessories I added both a RAM-B-252U and RAM-B-272U to allow me to retain any existing stuff in addition to the mirrors.

OOPS, not sure why images are so large

I put additional mirrors on and found the different focal lengths very disturbing. I took them back off and added small blind spot mirrors on the upper inner corners of the stock mirrors.  That helped a lot and the differing focal length thing didn't happen.

I've found it very difficult to see directly behind me with the stock mirrors.  The local Triumph dealer has a box full of take off mirrors and let me have one.  I have it one the left side now but may try it on the right.  I'm not crazy about the look but it makes it much easier to see behind me.
