Three Palms is fine with me.  The last plan we had for Big Bend had us at Three Palms one night, then ride east to Terlingua and on into Del Rio for one night, then up through the Twisted Sisters and into Kerrville for one night and home the next day.  The longest ride for me is to Presidio, and the ride on 170 and into Del Rio should be about 7-8 hours if non stop, which I'm sure we won't want to do.  I already have all the highway junctions as destinations in my GPS for the Twisted Sisters from our last washed out trip.

So we should meet in Alpine spend the night and ride to Persidio say the night.
Ride the river road 170 then to where?

I have a reservation for the 16th at the Hampton Inn in Alpine for a room with 2 queen beds and it is $167 total if someone wants to split one.  Free breakfast.  Hamptons are usually very comfortable from past experience.  Not the cheapest, but comfy.  Three Palms is next.  I don't know if they have online reservations available yet or not, they didn't a couple of years ago.  Modified to note that the Three Palm Inn does indeed have online reservations available now and I have a first floor room booked.  24 hr cancellation policy, so that's good.

I’m got my Alpine and Persidio Hotel booked.
Now what about Del Rio?
I know that not everyone will make the whole trip as there’s miles and time constraints but I hope we can all meet in Alpine.

There's a Best Western in Del Rio I had a reservation at when we planned the previous Big Bend trip.

Alpine and Presidio booked for the nights of the 16th and 17th.  :028:

I will need a better idea of what you folks have in mind for beyond before I commit.

I have a riding buddy from Wisconsin who is talking about flying down and renting a bike around the same time, so I will have to see how that shakes out...

I was thinking of riding up to Kerrville by way of an enjoyable route of some kind and leaving from there the next day to head home.
