    Moulded loops in panniers

I noticed these four moulded in loops today for the first time. I'm just curious...are these for straps supplied with the bike that may be missing?  Or just a place for you to fit your own webbing?

They are for elasticated straps that are included with the Panniers when new.

One set for the main part and another for the lid part.

Those little elastic straps are pretty cool.  I tuck my mesh riding jacket in in the morning, swap it with my warmer one for after work.  When I open the bag the jacket does not fall to the ground.

Guess I need to take a ride to the dealer!  I didn't get elastic straps on the 'lid' side of my panniers!

    Oops - My bad !

Itís the Too Box that has them in the lid part,
the Panniers have them in the main body
and NOT in the lid !

That makes sense, Coconut.  The bike I bought yesterday was from a first time owner and he assured me they were not included with his purchase.  We were just about to come to blows over this when the correction arrived   :008: :008: :008:
