After seeing Coconuts post saying the Garmin doesn't show playlist, leaning towards the 32gb ipod touch $200, 128gb $300 (one of the reasons I'm not an apple fan, they don't charge more for a better product, they charge more for storage capability with no sd card slot option) in order to use the Trophys screen to view playlist, scroll through and select songs.

Suggestion - go look at Apple's refurb area in the store. IPod Touch Prior gen 64GB for $149, current gen for $189. I keep one in the left side cubby plugged in so I've got the screen controls as well.
