Can you shorten Windscreen ! ?

Howdy folks ... I am new to my Trophy and i am not a very tall guy. It seems like i am really hot quite a bit with hardly any airflow getting to me compared to the Sprint that i have been used to for the last 8 years and 112,000kms i put on it ! When i raise up the windscreen to the top position, it is like very high !
I was wondering if anyone has ever had their windscreen cut or shortened a bit so you could get some air flow on you. I know I could still raise it up and be well protected when it gets cold ! Any one ever done this ?
Please let me know, Thanks Swartsie

It looks like the vstream sport screen is quite short going by the specs. People here say good things about the vstream screens. I have the original screen and with my height 6'0" I can still see over the top.

Did you know there are two versions of the Trophy Screen ?

The OEM "Standard" Screen, and the slightly larger, slightly different shape of the "Touring" Screen.

Images of both Screens in this Topic : OEM Stock Windshield -vs- Touring Windshield for a 2017 TTSE

As mentioned by  fingers there are various other After Market Screens
available for the Trophy but I have no information about those.

In your Research you may come across the "Laminar Lip" that can be attached to the top of the screen,
however these are designed for the opposite of what you are looking for -
to reduce the amount of air blowing onto the rider / reduce buffeting.

    Laminar lip fitted.

    Cheers  :821:

I have the vstream sport windscreen. I am 5'7" and this screen allows a lot more air than the OEM. I would recommend you give it a try. I little more noise and turbulence on highway but I will take that to keep cool in 95 degree F summers in SC.

Check the Triumph part number located on the lower right corner (facing the front of the screen) on your screen.  The standard part number 2304110,  if it is the high touring version it will be part number 2308811.

Hello Swartsie, I have found using a reciprocating tool and patience you can make holes and trim the windscreen plastic. Wet sanding the rough edge and not scratching is the key. I'm about to make a summer screen from a stock screen this weekend. Below is a link to some cuts I've made. https://www.triumph-trophy.com/index.php/topic,9205.msg106249.html#msg106249

Sorry misspoke, I used a oscillating tool/dremel/sandpaper and polishing compound not a reciprocating tool to trim the windscreen. And TAPE.
