Looking for a clutch part T1170114

I am in need of OEM part # T1170114 Plate, Clutch, Lifter or as referred to in the service manual a clutch release plate. I have called several dealers and they all say it is back-ordered. One member on a Facebook Trophy paged checked and could not find in the UK. I live in Eastern North Carolina, USA. I would take a used one if I could find one. Mine is cracked! It is the very last piece installed with five bolts that the slave cylinder presses against to release activate the clutch.

If all else fails, call Baxters Cycle in Iowa.  They had the only cam chain in the country apparently and got me back on the road.  (712) 781-2351

Maybe drop an email to Fowlers (spares@fowlers.co.uk), they source backorder parts from Triumph and it usually takes 3 to 5 working days to get them.

Out of interest did it crack across one of the bolt holes ?

FYI this is also the same part on the 1200 Explorer (up to VIN 740276) which might be another source for you.

Hermys shows one in stock for $62.06.

Bike Bandit states that it will ship within 1-2 days for $60.85.  Might want to call to determine actual inventory.

I've bought from both places - Hermys seems to deliver quicker for me.

Called and neither Hermy's nor Bike Bandit had the item in stock. BTW, Bike Bandit claims shipping in 1-2 work weeks, not days. I bought a pannier cover and right front turn signal from them and it took 18 days to receive parts.

I second that!  Bike Bandit is only about 160 miles south of me in Southern California, but Hermy's is usually quicker, probably since they're much closer to Triumph's U.S. parts distribution center.
