Some items, like older model TomTom GPS' that I know about first hand, won't charge while in use unless the power source is 2.1A.  I have 3 powerbanks, a 2500mA and two 4000mA, and they are all 2.1A output, but the one with 2.1A input seems to charge faster than the ones that are 1A max input when they need to be topped off.  Sitting in a top left jacket pocket with a short USB to micro charge cable to the Sena 20S, the headset will never go dead no matter how much use it gets during the day.

Hi all,

I asked N-Com if they recommend using a power bank charger that has an output voltage of 5V and output current of 3A on my Bluetooth Kit 2C.

Their reply ... not so sure about lasting 8 hrs  :008:

Dear Mr. Andrews,

thank you for contacting us.

Bluetooth Kit2 doesn't have a charge management circuit and the use of a power bank could damage a little the battery. By the way, if the use of the power bank is something limited in the time, it could work. We advise against charging the system for a long period using the power bank.
By the way, N-Com battery (when new) lasts about 8 hours. So, if you have the possibility to buy a new battery and the chance to charge the system sometimes during your trip, you don't need to use the power bank.

If you require any further information, do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,
Nolangroup S.p.A.
