Improved horn. Denali Sound Bomb Mini

For those who want to make a bit more noise, the Denali Sound Bomb Mini does fit.  Simply replaces the existing horn.  I had to twist the bracket in the vice first and I did have a concern the plastic outlet of the horn may melt being so close to the exhaust, but I've ridden nearly 600 miles in the last two days, in heat and in rain.

    No problems.

By the way, it's not as close as it looks in the photograph!

I was able to easily fit a full size Denali Sound Bomb on the left side of the engine once all the panels had been removed, and it’s plenty loud, but, despite the use of a separate relay and a direct connection to the battery, the bike’s electronics still sense the voltage draw when it is energized for more than a couple seconds, and automatically mutes the stereo to compensate. I guess it’s a fair compromise for the added horn volume in my case, but nonetheless, it needs to be pointed out...

Novocastrian, was this (understanding the bracket manipulation) a straight up horn replacement, or did it require relays and such?

It was a straight swap over.  No relays involved.  Much louder and much deeper.  No more silly scooter horns here  :018: :046:

Just ordered one off ebay for £23.69, though if you want the same item for the superior gentlemans Klunkenvaggen (RT or GS BMW to the uninitiated), they are £35. The price of being an exclusive mug ehh?
