Greetings from Orlando Florida!
« on: August 08, 2013, 12:50:13 AM »
Hello all!!! So glad to meet everyone.  I have a 2013 Trophy SE Launch edition that I absolutely love.  I look forward to a lot of quality time here on this forum.  I have been riding for over 40 years and it just keeps getting better all the time. I am very new to Triumph, but it is a great company and an awesome motorcycle. Thank you for the opportunity to say hi.

Welcome Florida must be a good place to own a motorbike perhaps too hot in summer?

Thank you all for the warm welcome!  to answer a few yes louis-charles it is sometimes too hot to ride and right now it's is a matter of rain in the afternoons.  But even on hot days sometimes you just gotta go!  And cropbiker I would like to talk about some experiences on this awesome bike,  I have approx. 500 miles on it now and had the first service done last Saturday. I find the original low seat is kind of hard after about 2 hrs or so, I have ordered a comfort seat and will try that out.  I also have been looking around the forum for some insight on floorboards and possibly armrests for my wife when she rides with me. I want to call suburban machinery to see if they can manufacture something and possibly make an extended shifter to go with the floorboards.  I see that they make some extensions for BMW and I hope they can make something for the Trophy.  Perhaps, this is all info for another forum, not too sure on that.  thanks again for the gracious welcome.  looking forward to some great conversation and learning experiences.
