    NAV audio

Hi. My Trophy SE has the Zumo 660 mounted and wired in to the audio system. Is it possible to have the NAV audio play without the radio audio (as with systems in cars?) or does the radio have to be turned up at all times?

    Thanks in anticipation.

The audio system has several sources (FM, MW, LW, USB, NAV, BlueTooth) and you can choose using the mode/menu button. If you choose NAV then only the audio from the 660 will be played.

Fingers is correct. It took me a while to work this one out as well. The audio has to be switched on, but select the NAV input option only.

If connected to the auxiliary source that owns the radio. You can use both. that is, if you carry the radio on when the GPS gives you the warning, it will automatically give the warning and disconnect the radio, once given the warning the radio or pendrive will automatically work again.

That is true, Digital, but he probably gets bored with the radio (as I do at times) and only want to hear the Sat Nav lady's soothing tones...even when she's feeding me bullsh#t about the shortest route! LOL

I can't go without a radio. I spend 5 to 6 hours a day on the bike and without it I would get bored.

How I would have liked to see you in Spain when we were so close to each other.

No, my work is electronics and I am currently working in the telecommunications sector, making repairs of electronic antennas and video intercoms from one place to another.
