Hi, from Lincs UK
« on: November 15, 2019, 08:23:42 PM »
Hi all

Pete from Boston Lincolnshire.  Currently have owned an ST1050 for ten years, and a Pan 1300 for 4.  Hoping to change to a 1215 Se in the coming year, so have joined for research and advice.

Generally a home mechanic, though do have Clive Wood locally for if I get stuck, and the bikes are mainly used for commute year through and holidays. I do a lot of night riding, which is how I ended up with the Pan as the headlights on the ST1050 were the limiting factor, and with old eyes it was turning into a pothole lottery.

I sorely miss the triple though, & I'm hoping the trophy will be the best of both worlds.

Thanks in advance for useful pointers.

P

:400: to the forum.  The driving light bulb conversion kit is a great economical addition to the Trophy if you end up on one. :028:

Like everyone else here,  :401:  parrafinpete. The TTSE is a fantastic bike, a very good all rounder, mile munching or batting round country roads, I find the comfort mode is ideal when touring, and when solo, no pillion..wife lol..and no luggage, put the bike in sport mode, and go, the sport mode stiffens the suspension up, not alter the engine characteristics as some people think, it's just a very versatile bike.  :152:
