At the going down of the sun...
« on: November 29, 2019, 01:15:28 AM »
Hello All,

To this kiwi being farkled sounds more like something you get in a far East den of ill repute rather than what you would do to a bike  :164:

For the WW1 centenary I had some NZ "Onward" vinyls done for my recently departed Rocket Roadster and I had some extras. Looking at the rear of the Trophy it seemed a good idea to add these remembrance poppy's to the panniers. I'm pleased with the result - it also adds a splash of colour. I hope the link works....

Phhh, that is what you think...
You haven't ever seen mine.

Cleaning your bike is something for BMW's.
Then you have something to be proud of: a non good functionerend bike, but proper..

A nice tribute to our fallen heroes. I went to the Anzac beaches on my Trophy a few years ago and found it very moving. Now that was a ride out!

 Nice tribute, petethesheep.
Myself and 2 friends went to Ypre's in August, Belgium for a week. We stayed actually in Ypres, and went to the Menin Gate every night for the Last Post, such a humbling place.
I added a photo of my bike at one of the cemeteries, sorry I can't remember the name, we did so many, and a photo of the Menin Gate.

Hi Wilko,

Nice photos  :161: . There are so many Commonwealth war graves in that area. I found the number of graves quite overwhelming.
