Thank you all. Had a demo Trophy for a couple of hours and ventured into the Yorkshire Dales. I was particularly impressed with the smoothness of the engine - 3rd gear would handle the ups and downs of the single track road we traversed without any sign of straining. When we hit the open dual carriageway just south of Skipton I opened up the throttle and - wow! - the power delivery was impressive to say the least!

From that moment it was 'when' not 'if'!

Too true... But I bought mine sight unseen.  One look at a photo and knowing it was the shaft drive Triumph I'd waited years for was enough to make me order mine.
