Can I add audio / radio to a non SE model

Hi just wondered if it was possible to add the radio unit to a non SE model.

Looking on the parts catalogue it shows the individual components but no kit.

I also notice the wiring looms are different; I don’t think my bike has the connections.

    Any help would be appreciated.

The standard Trophy comes without the pre-installation of the cable harnesses or the keypad (pineapple that goes on the handlebars), so it would be very expensive to install the original radio kit, I think it would exceed 3,000 euros.

What you can do is install a radio set of at least 50 watts per channel.

    Material to use:

    - Sound equipment (Radio with USB input for pendrive, FM) + "DAB for the case of the United Kingdom" and if you have something else, better
    - A set of speakers (higher than the watts that will be given by the sound system to be installed).
    - 1 antenna for band III (DAB) + FM, (they are sold for both bands).
    - Some cable to proceed with its installation.

All this can be found for a few pounds.

The installation is very simple and can be installed without any problem.

The type of radio must have a remote control or a keypad with cable to put it somewhere on the handlebar or dashboard and to handle the sound equipment.

Any decision you make has me available to guide you.  :821: :821: :821:

Thanks for the info & advice.

I look for something that would suit the bike.

    Any ideas?

I have been looking at a complete team and with integrated DAB, it is difficult to locate one for a motorcycle. The ones I see don't have a remote control

So: To get an idea, it has to be something like what I put in the following link:

    https://es.aliexpress.com/item/32903007292.html

The beautiful part, obviously, due to its dimensions, cannot be installed on the front of the motorcycle. Therefore, it can be placed inside the original equipment box, located under the seat and the remote control placed on the motorcycle dashboard.

In the case of wanting to receive digital DAB broadcasts. These devices could be added.

Then there is also this other option:

    https://es.aliexpress.com/item/4000260940470.html

It is one of the amplifiers that I have seen that have enough output power and has remote control. installing this type of amplifiers afterwards you can add an FM + DAB radio equipment. only thing that would then carry two remote controls.

What I do not know your level to know exactly how far you are willing to install and defend yourself with this mixed type of equipment.

If you enlarge the photo, you will see that on top of the box it carries objects on the left side of the motorcycle you will see that I have installed a device like the ones you will see in the links that I have previously passed on.

I took it for two years, while I had time to repair the original of the motorcycle. Now I don't carry it because I have already repaired the original.

The truth is that these types of devices are of high quality, although they are of (Chinese manufacture) this carries FM + DAB, USB input. I could listen to favorite music and once parked I could watch movies. I could also see the cameras that I have installed on the front and back of the motorcycle.

That’s great. Thank you for the help.

I’d looked at similar today but it’s hard to know what to search for.

I found this one but don’t like the speakers:-

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/GoldenHawk-Amplifier-Waterproof-Bluetooth-Motorcycle/dp/B07B7QMN2F

And this one too on eBay:

    https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F153780285272

Or this one that can be hidden under the seat:-

    https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F183982578797

Ideally I’d like to be able to listen to the radio on the speakers but also other times stream it to my headset via my phone Bluetooth - whilst silencing be speakers if you know what I mean.
