First-time Triumph owner
« on: January 12, 2020, 11:23:14 PM »
I have had 5 road bikes in my life, and now the sixth is a new 2017 Triumph Trophy SE!!  I have been saving for awhile, figuring I was going to buy a Honda Gold Wing in the spring.  I have previously had 2 Gold Wings, a 1986 and a 2004.  But after much research, I decided on the Trophy instead.  I am very excited.  I have to travel about 250 miles (each way) when I pick it up in April, but it is worth it.  I feel like I got a good price and I spent ALOT less than I would have on a Gold Wing.
This forum is really cool, I have learned a lot already.  Thanks for this great service.

LIVE TO RIDE, RIDE TO LIVE.

Peace,

Steve

:400: to the forum.  I think you will like the handling of the Trophy as well as the lighter weight, even though a lot of us feel like it is a top heavy beast!

:400: TriumphSteve. Firstly to Trophy ownership and of course secondly to this most informative forum. A big call coming from a couple of Wings, but then I'm continually amazed at what my Trophy brings to my long distance riding exploits. I'm sure your love affair will only increase with time.  :821: :158:
