Trophy crash bars and racks by Tralex / Re: Crash Bars by Tralex

Got the front & rear crash bars installed.  Installing the rears didn't take long at all.

Installing the fronts didn't take long either if I subtract the time it took to remove and re-install all the plastic.

I didn't use the supplied 8mm bolts that attach the front of the bars to the cross bar because the shallow head allen bolts that were supplied seemed like they were made with a kinda soft material.  I was concerned that I might strip the shallow allen hex hole when I needed to remove them.  It would be very difficult to remove them if the hole was stripped out.  I used full depth S.S. allen bolts instead.

Very satisfied with these crash bars.  But I hope I will never need to rely on their protection.

Nah, we'll just cross paths with him 6 or 8 times along the way  :152:

I'll be there.  I guess I better get off my  :005:  and fix my transmission issues.
If I'm not on the east coast, maybe we can meet up in Phoenix and run the first leg to Durango.

Thanks mate.
Unfortunately I'm having to sell my Triumph Trophy 1215, registered 2013 with 23130 miles on the clock (only about 260 miles since last years MOT new MOT from end June)23. My bike is Ocean blue in colour with full set of triumph luggage including top box with cushion back support (not shown in photo), lovely touring bike with engine crash bars, electric screen, cruise control, ABS, computer, charging sockets, Garmin 595LM Sat. Nav. fitted with both UK & full European coverage for life, new battery 18 months ago. My bike is in very good condition! the bad points, only one key when I purchased the bike which I have owned for 3 years, and a cracked offside wing mirror that was damaged in transit when delivered to my home. I have a replacement which has never been fitted. The bike is based in Burnham on Crouch, Essex. Photo of bike on gallery page, I have genuine Triumph replacement wing mirror, no time wasters or demonstration rides, unfortunately minimal service history. 5000 ono.

Is the screen still for sale?

The light bar doesn't have enough clearance, and at times would rub the top of the fender (mostly when turning, not good!). So it's been removed and the search will be on for something similar, but thinner.

I have a UK version that was bought in error.  Shipping from the US is most likely prohibitively expensive these days.  If it is even possible to find the US version on your side of the pond I would trade with you.  All I want it for is a spare part.
