I hope not, as the TTSE has a rev limiter that prevents such!

Ha!   I should have said not close to redline. :)
The Trophy's sweet spot seems to be 5000 rpm - 7000 rpm.  No need to go beyond that.

Hmmm... My brother lives in Carson City.  Too bad he has no interest in riding, or I'd send him your way!

Mark,
I live in Sacramento, I've just spent the last week researching this bike. I'm very interested in yours. Have a busy week I expect to give you a call by Thursday. In the meantime, if I may make a suggestion that having a beautiful 2007 Triumph Tiger 1050, also with 36K miles (my current bike) next to your sports car may be a great combination, for a super price. Louis,
Ha!  Your bike would look really nice next to the car; unfortunately, I am "all in" with the car.
Looking forward to talking with you.

Changed oil and oil filter today, used Amsoil synthetic 10-40.  Took her (Kate) for a short ride afterwards.  Man, I will miss her. Maybe I will keep her if no one offers the asking price. :062:

Yesterday did not suck.  :002:     If anyone can guess where this photo was taken, I will discount the price a lil bit.   :001:

BTW, the Trophy embarrassed the Hayabusa (only in the corners).   :062:

I love a challenge !

I guess you're about 51 miles from Lake Tahoe !  :164:

Or more precisely, just behind the Topaz Inter Agency Fire Station,
at the Junction of CA 89 and the 395, South of Topaz Lake !

If you MUST sell your Trophy, please sell it for Full Price
and just send me whatever the discount would have been  :008:

Cheers  :821:

I wouldn't be guessing at all. I have stopped there countless times too, but I am always going east when I stop there, coming down the hill from Monitor Pass.  Looks like you're headed west and uphill to Monitor Pass.

Don,  It is against my religion to do Monitor Pass only one direction.   :001:

Take care

With the guys I ride with, it is against their religion to come back the same way as going. It always has to be a loop. Never see the same road twice on the same trip.

I have a nephew who  lives in Virginia City and is a biker, will email him about your deal.  He is a Harley guy (no tattoos) but may be open for a change.   He rode my 87 Yamaha Venture once as well as my R1100RT and liked both but still seems to stick with the Harley, I keep trying to educate him.

Will be in Carson City this Sept. on a tour from PA through the northwest and down to Carson for a visit and head home from there.

A recent photo of "Kate".  For sale at an unbelievable $7,999.

Also, I keep forgetting to mention, I am pretty sure "Kate" was built on a Tuesday morning.   :001:
She has treated me very well.

Your bike looks brand new. I can't believe it has not sold at this price. Have you tried CycleTrader.com?

Definitely a great mystery.  I have only had three people contact me, and no one has looked at it.
I could be doing a better job of advertising it, only here and craigslist.  I don't want to leave it at a dealer or out in public, I would rather she stayed in my garage.  I will research the cycletrader idea.  Thanks.

He and I might soon be neighbors! I have decided to sell this place in SSF and buy another house closer to Reno and out of the traffic in the Sacramento/RoseVille/Elk Grove area.

But I will miss the nice cool summer weather of this area (~70F / 21C  is usually the summer day high temp here). BTW, how are you enjoying the very HOT weather there?

And here I am! Kate did great on the way home. Traffic was a bit of a hindrance getting by the lake. You're right. I think she was built on a Tuesday  :152:

Maybe some day we can do a ride together. But I have already been on a ride with YOUR bike. I did one of my longest day rides with Mark (Triucati) a few years ago. Boy, can he ride that thing fast in the curves (unlike me!).

In a few months, I will have a house in the Roseville/Sacramento/Elk Grove area.

Congratulations on the sale.  I fear my turn is coming up.  I might as well sell my Trophy.  The travel on my new job leaves me no time for riding.  And even less time for this Forum.
