7 years after my original post, I have updated the downloadable document showing the location
and lists of the various "fixings" used to secure the Fairing Panels - to correct an error !  :138:

( Scroll to the bottom of the first Post to see the Download Link )

To give you an idea of how the Zumo XT looks on the Trophy :
( Ignore the switch boxes to either side, for my additional lighting etc ).

Cheers  :821:

Originally intended for the 600 Series, but many opted later for the 595,
which is slightly taller, and care needs to be taken not to obscure
the top of the Instrument Panel display - some opted to fit an extension piece to raise it higher,
but then you have to watch the top doesn't come into contact with the fully lowered screen.

If you haven't decided on a Sat Nav device take a look at the Zumo XT
which a few of us have switched to - It doesn't have all of the features
of the 595, but it has a MUCH brighter screen that the 595 is lacking.  :169:

It also has NO Audio Output cable so can't be connected to the Trophy Audio Cable connector,
it relies on a Bluetooth connection, or its own little speaker intended for in-car use.

Items Wanted / Re: UK - Heated seat switch and subharness wanted
« on: September 18, 2021, 07:36:25 am »
There's a Harness on eBay but it's more expensive than buying from a Dealer !  :087:
( Dealer Price is around 18.00 )

The Switch ( T2505150 ) is ridiculously expensive from a Dealer,
currently priced at 65.10 from World of Triumph or a few pounds
less if you visit a Triumph Dealership to order.

The same switch is / was used on the Tiger Explorer XC,
and there's a Heated Seat complete with switch and Harness
( Explorer harness - appears NOT to be compatible with the Trophy )
on eBay right now for 60.00 including UK delivery, so you could think about
buying that, or similar, keeping the switch then selling the Seat
and Explorer Harness on to recover some of the cost.  :002:

Thanks for the Update - I'm quietly confident
that the replacement unit will solve the problem.  :169:   :028:

Rain-X manufacture a number of different products.

WARNING DO NOT use Rain-X "GLASS" on Plastic motorcycle screens, or visors.

This Warning from Rain-X's own web site :

Q : Can it be used on transparent plastics ?
A : Rain-X Rain Repellent it not generally suitable for use on plastics.
The increasing variety of various coatings applied to plastics makes it impossible to pre-test
for compatibility under all conditions, and users should satisfy themselves by treating an area
outside the normal area of vision. Please note that constant, repetitive use should be avoided
due to the possible formation of stress cracking, especially on clear, curved sections,
however, Rain-X Plastic Water Repellent is suitable for use on plastics.

Q : Can it be used on motorcycle helmets or windscreens ?
A : Only Rain-X Plastic Water Repellent should be used on motorcycle helmets and windscreens.

Rain-X "PLASTIC" is the product to use on the Trophy Screen, and your helmet visor :
