Phone test it with a call to another party to find out what that performance is like.  With my visor partially up for some extra air in the summer my wife says the call comes through loud and clear with no background noise.  That's with EITHER my old SMH10, or my current 20S Evo.  I've never been fond of any of the Schuberth integrated bluetooth performance based on my previous BMW that had to use the Schuberth (Cardo I think) at the time, or from comments friends that own them have made.

Lucy thinks she might want to take about a 2 week driving tour there some time in the future after seeing some of the photos.

Mine is run off of a 3A dedicated circuit from my switched fuse block (home made).  Since the XT is bluetooth only output and you can't hardwire an audio connection through the Trophy from it there is no advantage to using the Trophy's connection other than the shorter run.  If you've never had a gps on an OEM mount that may be an advantage.  I've always had a Tom Tom run from my fuse block so to me it was simple to just use my existing wiring when I installed the OEM gps mount.  I can also change my gps brand at any time by just disconnecting the Tom Tom mount on the OEM bracket and installing whatever brand I want using any amps pattern powered mount.

Do you have the wiring harness for it as well?  If so I'm interested.

If you can find an older set that is the 2 piece plastic housing that is the way I would go.  You can save the old ones and replace the batteries in them ahead of a tire change in the future when you start getting a "low battery" warning, just don't obscure the serial number on the label in the process since that is required to program to the Trophy so they display pressures on the dash.  You may well have a year or more of sensor life after the "low battery" warning is displayed from my experience.

I'm looking for places to stay on the 12th, preferably on the west side of El Paso.  If anyone going that way would like to offer suggestions or preferences maybe we can find a location that has rooms available for the whole group for that night.  So far looks like the following from Texas headed that direction: 2slow, mmlanes, myself, and maybe even Swat and the Ms.  West side of El Paso looks a little pricier than the east side, and maybe there's a good reason for that.  Any info would be appreciated.

I've never really had any issues with my Sena's, just an Iphone that I have thankfully rid myself of due to one of their pushed "updates" that they finally admitted had a problem in the bluetooth function but didn't have a time frame to fix the bug.  Never a single issue with the connection on my "other platform" phone.
