Some times it’s just getting there that makes it an adventure. so everyone can come on these trips Once Triumph stopped building the Trophy some members found themselves on other bikes and that’s okay we are all waiting for Triumph to come to its right mind. 5

There is a Parts List available for Download from this Forum Topic : Spare Parts List It is in Excel Spreadsheet format, and I try to maintain it - adding details of alternative parts where they are known, when they become available, or when I hear about them ! The part mentioned for the Gearchange Pushrod Balljoint seals are listed there as : GEA50149-1 They are available in the UK from www.motorworks.co.uk, or "Google" the Part number to see options fro your Country. Maintenance, Servicing, and Mechanical / Re: Gear shift lever pivot« Last post by trophied on Yesterday at 10:14 pm »The parts breakdown shows a felt dust seal and on my '13 every time I serviced the linkage the seal was torn up or missing from the sharp end of the retainer snagging it during use. I think the rubber boot like some BMW's use with exactly the same type of retainer (K1200's from a video I saw) would work to keep debris and water out of the joint. I just looked and didn't find the rubber ones, but I know I have some and there's a part number on the package.

Maintenance, Servicing, and Mechanical / Re: Gear shift lever pivot« Last post by STJIM on Yesterday at 09:37 pm »That's interesting since there were no felt dust covers on either end.
Both ends looked OK as far as no corrosion goes. There was a small dab of what looked like dried-up white grease inside each. I used some moly paste ( not moly grease ) to re-lube after cleaning. The shift lever was nice and loose after the job was done. I'll try to remember to report back in a year or two. 9
Maintenance, Servicing, and Mechanical / Re: Gear shift lever pivot« Last post by trophied on Yesterday at 08:35 pm »A discussion about the shifter lever bolt on here somewhere has a BMW part number for a rubber cover for the linkage ends that solves the problem of the retainer clip corners destroying the felt dust covers. I have some and I'll see about the part number on the package and post it here and PM you. I think that was posted by member Saddle Tramp while he had a Trophy to go with his BMW.

The hardest part is showing up on your Trophy in the presence of a Founding Member and your in! The secret handshake is even easier!
