Thanks to T800XC my maintenance interval is reset after ordering his recommended OBD cable and using Tigertool it took less than a minute!  Thanks to all for the help provided. :821:

They mimic the indicators on automobiles in the US these days.  They all have those on the outside mirrors to alert drivers that may be in the blind spot.  May even be a government requirement here now since ALL the current vehicles have them.  Drivers here now seem to think if they signal they're entitled to that position on the roadway, no matter if it's partially occupied already or not!  They can't see past their hood ornament and think their rear bumper is just behind the driver's seat! :005:

That is very clever work, and a very pretty result, but can you tell me what is the purpose of them ?

Are they for other motorists to see in addition to the rear Indicators -
to make it more obvious to them when your are intending to turn,
or is it to alert the Rider when the Indicators are on, ( or have been left on ),
being much more obvious than the green "Tell Tale" light in the Instrument Panel ?

Or is it for both ? !

If it is to alert other motorists, it would be good to see a video
taken from a few metres behind the Trophy in daylight to see how good they are.  :028:

I got the same email, and regularly get others - because I'm on their mailing list.

I usually delete that kind of message without reading through all of it,
and only stay on the mailing list in case anything "interesting" is promoted !

Hi Hardknight and :400: to the Forum !

Removing the Fairings is NOT at all difficult !

Triumph did a great job of hiding all the securing bolts,
and as a part is removed, further bolts are revealed,
so everything has to be done ( more or less ) in a certain order.

I wrote a Topic a few years back showing step by step instructions on removing the Fairing
( and installing "R & G" Crash Bars ) with Photo's, and which also has a sheet you can download
listing the location of all the bolts for reference :

HOW TO : Remove the Fairing AND Fit R&G Adventure ( Crash ) Bars

It's one of several useful "HOW TO" guides in that Section of the Forum  :028:

With regards your Air Filter it depends on when the bike was last serviced / when it was last changed.

The service schedule calls for it to be changed every 10,000 miles.

There is a Service schedule in the Owners Handbook, although it contains some errors !  :164:

You can download a document from the Forum which has the known errors corrected in the Service Schedule,
along with corrections for the official Service Manual and other Triumph publications for the Trophy SE in the same place :

Servicing Data, Reference Info. & DTC ( Fault ) Codes

You need coconut to join in to make you all "Twisted Trophies International Founding Members".  It's FREEEEEEE!  Then you could do France, then Spain, then Turkey, then Denmark, then Ireland, then,,,,,.  We would be the World Dominant Triumph riders organization (a really loose definition of us) and Triumph would have to listen to us and bring back a Trophy to the lineup. :046:  Someone that's a "Twisted" member has just GOT to get to Australia on a Trophy. :745:
