Hi All,

hopefully everyone is aware of National Ride To Work week from 20th to 26th June 2016??

An excuse..... like we really need one to take the bike to work every day and further the cause of our environmentally friendly and FUN form of travel!

Lets show those cagers that starting the day on 2 wheels and unwinding on the way home taking the long route..... because its there.... is the best way to destress!

Enjoy all.

Hello all,

in the market for some new summer short boots / shoes. Anybody get any recommendations??

Thinking probably of a pair that will double as day shoes when touring in summer so I can cut down the need to carry trainers etc.

Quite like the look of either

Sidi Gas boots
TCX X-Square sports boots
Dainese Motorshoe D-WP Boots
Alpinestars Fastback

But willing to entertain other suggestions

For those of us who feel there aren't enough distractions while riding...

Right, time to get some facts that might aid an informed discussion with Triumph.

A poll to find how many shift pivot bolts have failed, what mileage and if the bike has been over or not.

There is also a no option but should the unfortunate happen you are able to go back and change your vote.

No need to leave any discussion comments, that is covered elsewhere. This is purely for stats.

So we can get a more accurate read of the problem can I encourage everyone to vote even if you do not normally post messages. Would be good to have some facts to approach Triumph with to see about a better solution for us all!

In the UK from 3 years old every vehicle on the road requires an MOT test certificate. Other countries also have annual safety inspection requirements. As many more bikes are hitting that point where the annual inspection is required I thought it might be good if when we take those MOT inspections we list the mileage we have done and any items that have caused you to fail the test or that you have been warned about.

With this information others approaching the test may be able to do some pre-work to ensure they get through the inspection without major cost or inconvenience.

If you have recently taken a safety inspection MOT then please post these details for us all to be aware of.

Events, Meetings, and Ride Outs / A Vulcan day out!
« on: January 01, 2016, 10:12:47 pm »
Hello all,

Well, as promised I have booked us a day out to see the Vulcan XM655 which is based at Wellesbourne airfield near Warwick.

For organised group visits like this we will have a ground power on display showing bomb bay operation and other flight controls and exterior functions.

For a small donation we will also get to have a cockpit tour of one of the last 3 ground serviceable Vulcans on the planet.

Naturally we will also be able to avail ourselves of a great photo opportunity with us and our Trophies lined up in front of the old girl! :046: :046:

The date we have is Saturday 27th February at 11:00 am. Nearly every other weekend is already booked other than 1 in January and 2 in December!!!

I am awaiting details of the pricing but details of the group visits can be read here

Please respond to this thread if you would like to attend and see this icon of British aviation and also have a get together with your fellow Trophy Riders. Places are limited to 20 per group visit.

Happy New Year!

With the 11th of the 11th tomorrow I though we should remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms...

Here is a link to a video of a poppy drop by 'Just Jane' at East Kirkby airfield
