I don't see where you are located but I bought my 2015 new in October 2017 for just over $10k.  These are discontinued bikes so I'd say it's overpriced even "new".  Basically, it's a 4 going on 5-year-old bike that no one has wanted to date at that price.

OK, you convinced me.  I had a different brand on my V-Strom and admit I'd never heard of CustomTaylor33.  Saw they were also available via Amazon here in the USA so clicked the buy button.  One of the "reviews" on YouTube indicated a couple of additional items, stars mostly, that might come in handy on my helmet.

For those native English speakers who might be language challenged, or didn't install Google Translate, here it is in English and in $$:

Plus his store indicates he's located in Hertford, United Kingdom for those of you located in the land of Triumph!   :152:

Just ordered some KD foot pegs.

Sure could use some more room.

Looking forward to trying them out!

I was happy they sent them Priority Mail, or at least I got them in about two days, instead of waiting and waiting for delivery.  I'm impatient at times!  :169:

I wouldn't use WD-40 in a lock but was once told by a locksmith he used Denatured Alcohol to clean mechanisms and followed with either powdered graphite or one of the dry lubes available.  I've used the 3-in-one stuff without an issue

Anyone out of the USA, not sure if this is available but suspect something similar certainly will be.

Good to know.  I've been using a sheepskin (sheared buttpad) cover from Alaska leather.  I brought it over from a Suzuki DL650 V-Strom.

I think the coupon code DEADSHEEP might even still work for a discount.

Curious how that cover might fit if you removed the top box?  Recommend going down a size in that case?

I'm a big PayPal fan.  There are vocal detractors but I've never had an issue.  I will admit, on another For Sale forum, I bought a part by sending a $20 bill in an envelope.  That worked out all right.
