I also only use Regular US 87 with 10% ethanol and no problems in 30k miles.

In regards to ethanol in premium, especially in the middle of the country (corn country).  Unless specifically posted as ethanol free you should assume there is ethanol in all grades of gasoline rather than the other way.

Near me we have a few (can count on one hand) the number of stations that have any ethanol free gas.  It is sold at premium prices.  I do my last fill-up with that if winter is going to be long (more than a month) and I won't be riding at all.  So typically in late December I fill with that, stabilizer, and let her sit full on tender.  But here in KC, winter is really Jan/Feb and sometimes isn't that bad.

Exactly my method but I'm at just over 10K miles.  For those interested, and in the USA, you can go to and see if there might be any stations selling alcohol free pumps.

Is anyone interested if it is free?  You just need to set up the shipping.

I'll be happy to send you $20 to cover purchase and Postage if that works for you.  Hopefully a small box you might scrounge up and postage should be less than that.  You cam PM me your details and I can PayPal the $$.

Edit: I also just noticed my bank, Ally offers payments via "Zelle".  Never used it but I can look into sending $$ that way if you accept and prefer.

As might guess by my ID, it's easy to start the day over 90 in the summer.  Do Trophy bikes have any heat issues as far as exhaust heat coming up on your legs?  It was only 93 today but I felt a little more heat hitting my left leg than I would like at this 'cooler' temp.
Being a neighbor to your East, I feel heat when riding in warmer weather especially on my feet and lower legs mostly at slower speeds.  Once at highway speeds it's not nearly as noticeable.  The heat from the radiator has to exit someplace.

Not long after getting the bike I traveled to Phoenix to have lunch with a couple former co-workers.  While heading back afterward I decided to take East Shea Blvd through Scottsdale on my way to Payson and points East.  Seeing the bike show 99 degrees temps and feeling overall hot I decided to pop my shield on my helmet.  Feeling that blast of heat I quickly closed it.  I had not realized there were multiple stop lights along Shea so I really felt engine heat there.  Once I hit the highway I felt no issues.  Of course, once I left the "Valley of the Sun" it also cooled 15 degrees or more!

As an alternative "solution" look at Bicycle shops in person or online for handlebar wrap.  Many styles and materials from plastic to cork to possibly leather.  Since it is designed to cover an entire handlebar I suspect the two rolls would cover at least two sets of grips.  I like options.  :002:

Hi Alan, Lady Di and myself have been for a 120 mile ride today, 23 made for a enjoyable day. No Cruise Control but not a surprise as the #1 Brake is still 'ON'.

Good shout I will pull the rear light tomorrow and see what happens.

Sorry if I missed it but are you convinced the actual brake light isn't illuminated all the time as if the front brake lever is pulled even when released?  Basically does the brake light function on and off as wanted?

What year did that start?  I looked at a couple of other years, a 2015 and a 2014 and neither of those has SiriusXM on them.
My 2015 had it from the factory.  I've never used it so never started the subscription.

According to HiFlo the "RC" is more than just the cross drilled nut on the end of the filter.  They tout other benefits for the "Racing" filters

However I also suggest the "RC" version.
