Title: Hello from NZ
Post by: petethesheep on November 02, 2019, 08:47:58 PM
Gidday All,

Well the All Blacks missed out on a Trophy this year but I got one! New owner of a 2014 Trophy. Traded down from a mighty Rocket Roadster which while an absolute insane blast to ride, its time to go back to my sports touring roots. Looking forward to getting some miles on the clock and learning from this forum.

Yours in Triumph

Peter

I have had the very great pleasure to be in the Land of the Long White Cloud two times, once in 1970 and once in 2008.  The second trip was brilliant (the first trip was as a cadet on a Shell Oil Tanker!), I hired a Harley in Auckland and rode to Bluff taking in many sights including Bert Monroe's Indian, Mt.Cook, and rode the Buller Gorge.  My wife and I love NZ and would return in a heartbeat.

Enjoy the Trophy all the way from Hinkley.

Thanks Dave,

I lived in the UK for nearly 20yrs and there are some neat spots around the "old country" as well.... oh and a few potholes LOL.

Welcome Peter, and I wish you many safe and happy miles on your Trophy.
(Also a special thanks to your All Blacks for giving the Springboks the opportunity to burst those Red Rose ego's! NZ still has the no.1 team, but they are human, and even fail occasionally. I'm also sure the All Blacks would have the decency to not smirk at the English team performing a pre-match Morris dance  :745: :430:)
