I like the sound of that Trident, I see the link on the forum, gonna send them a message. Thanks to all who replied to my post, didn't want to get something I wasn't happy with. If anyone wants :046: to post a soundbite of something else in the meantime, feel free.

Thanks,  Jeff

Thanks, it's helpful to hear sound. Seems like a bit of a hesitation after the install of the Pipewerx exhaust.

So i'm guessing it isn't an OEM, because you failed to answer that. Where did you originally purchase this from, Im looking for a replacement, but I want an OEM because I find the very comfortable.

What year Trophy SE it it for, is this an OEM seat, and why did you only have it on for 20 miles ?
Is it that much different that the factory original ?

Looking for a Lunar Silver top box. Lost mine on my most recent trip. Can pick up if reasonably close, 300 mile radius.

Tyres and Wheels / front tire wear
« on: July 13, 2019, 04:50:10 AM »
I just returned form a cross country tour, totaling just under 10K. miles. My front tire is worn out but the rear still has a few thousand to go. I put Michelin Piolet 5's on before I left because I heard they were long lasting. Not complaining, I know 10 thousand miles is a lot, but what concerns me is that the back tire has so much more tread. Isn't it usually one front replacement to two rear tires ? I was told by the dealer that the bike is front heavy, and because of the hot riding conditions, the front wore out faster.
