type of oil to use

I know everyone talks about the type of oil to use ,but I would like to know if I can use ELF MOTOR TECH 4XT oil instead of CASTROL POWER RS RACING 4T oil. The owner book said to use Castrol oil will using the ELF oil void the warranty.

The weight of the oil is the important thing.... not the brand... I don't believe using a different brand, as long as it is the right grade of oil could invalidate your warranty

Thanks that what I was thinking ,I believe the weight is the same 10/w-50
